Our Story
Custom Armor Group was founded in 2012 by Todd Dix, a deeply passionate entrepreneur who has 25+ years of experience in the military and law enforcement fields.
Todd was motivated to start CAG after experiencing first-hand the consequences of inadequate protective equipment in high-risk situations. He set out to design and produce custom body armor and protective equipment made of only the most cutting-edge and innovative materials to save the lives and meet the unique needs and challenges of those who defend and protect our nation and its citizens.
Todd also owns and runs Dix Defense, the nation’s highest volume representation group of sustainment products, including organizational clothing and individual equipment (OCIE), for law enforcement and federal agencies.
